Can I have more than one person, or a pet with someone?

Yes. Couples, families and people with their pets all work well. The only thing to keep in mind is that the more faces there are, the smaller each one sits inside the crystal. For three or more people, a close-up works better than a full-length shot.
What if my photo isn't very good?

We can work with most of them, including old photos and ones straight off your phone. Before anything is etched, a person checks it. If we don't think it'll come out well, we'll email you and ask for another. We never etch something we're not happy with.
Can I add a name or a message?

Yes — a short line can be etched beneath the image: a name, a date, or a few words. You add it when you upload your photo.
Does it have to stay plugged in?

No. The base runs off USB and you switch it on whenever you like. In daylight the etching shows just as clearly without it — the light simply makes it look better at night.
